How Our Rental Period Works

Here’s a quick rundown of how long you can keep our reusable moving totes and how your rental timeline is calculated from delivery to pickup. You’ll find simple guidance on minimum rental periods, extensions, and what happens if you return totes early.

Our standard rental period is 14 days, giving you plenty of time to pack, move, and unpack comfortably without feeling rushed. This two-week window is included with every package and is designed to fit most home and office moves.

Yes, you’re welcome to use the totes for fewer than 14 days if you finish packing and unpacking early. However, our minimum rental period and pricing are based on a full 14-day rental, so the cost remains the same even if you return them sooner. If you’re expecting a shorter move and want flexibility, you can always request an earlier pickup—just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

If you need more time with the totes, you can easily request a rental extension. Just contact us as soon as you know you need extra days, and we’ll check availability to make sure we can accommodate your updated schedule. Additional days are billed at our daily extension rate, which will be clearly explained before we confirm the change.

Yes, our pricing is based on a standard 14-day rental period, so the full 14-day fee applies even if you finish early.

Your rental period officially begins on the day we deliver your totes to your home or office. From there, you have a full 14 days to pack, move, and unpack at your own pace. The rental period ends on your scheduled pickup date, when we return to collect the totes from your new location.

Delivery, Pickup, and Scheduling

This section guides you through how our delivery and pickup schedule works across Cambridge, Kitchener, Guelph, and the surrounding areas of the Waterloo Region, so you always know when your totes will arrive and when we’ll return to collect them. Helpful guidance on choosing your delivery time, understanding our weekday and weekend availability, and knowing exactly what to expect on delivery and pickup day.

Because we’re a small local business, our weekday delivery window is limited to 7:30 PM–8:30 PM. For more flexible timing and full-service support, we offer deliveries every Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM

Yes, we ask that someone be home for both delivery and pickup. This allows us to hand off the totes safely, confirm the correct quantity, and ensure everything arrives in good condition. Being present also helps avoid missed deliveries or additional fees for extra trips. If you need someone else to receive the totes on your behalf, that’s perfectly fine—just let us know their name ahead of time.

Since we’re a small local business, our weekday delivery window is limited to 7:30 PM–8:30 PM; however, we offer much more flexible timing on weekends. Every Saturday and Sunday, you’re welcome to choose a delivery time between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM for full-service convenience. Pickup times can also be arranged based on our available windows, as long as they don’t overlap with other confirmed appointments. As we continue to grow, this schedule may change in the future to better meet our customers’ preferred availability.

On delivery day, we’ll arrive within your scheduled time window and bring your clean, sanitized totes right to your door. We’ll count the totes with you to make sure everything matches your order and answer any quick questions before we leave. Since our totes are delivered ready to use, you can start packing right away. If you live in an apartment or condo, please make sure we have access to the building for a smooth drop-off.

If you need to change your delivery or pickup date, just reach out to us—we’re always happy to help. As long as the new time slot is available, adjusting your schedule is usually quick and easy. If the length of your rental stays the same, we won’t charge any extra fees for changing your dates. And if you need an extension or a bigger adjustment, we’ll guide you through any updated costs or availability.

How Many Totes Do I Need?

This section helps you figure out exactly how many totes you’ll need based on the size of your home, office, or the amount of belongings you plan to pack. We break it down in simple terms so you can choose the right package with confidence—without guessing or overpaying.

The number of totes you need depends on the size of your home and how much you’re packing. Smaller apartments typically need around 20–30 totes, while larger homes may require 40–80 or more. To simplify things, we offer package bundles designed around common home sizes, so you can select the one that best fits your needs without guessing.

Yes, we do! We offer curated packages for bachelors, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom homes, as well as small office setups. These recommendations are based on typical packing needs, helping you get the right number of totes from the start—without over- or under-ordering.

If you’re unsure, we’re here to help. Just share your home size and what you plan to pack, and we’ll guide you to the best option. Many customers find it helpful to have a little extra room, so don’t worry—we’ll make sure you feel confident with your choice.

Absolutely! If you start packing and realize you need more totes, just contact us and we’ll be happy to assist. As long as we have availability, we’ll deliver additional totes right to your door. If your original order has already been delivered, a small extra delivery fee may apply—however, if you are within 15 kilometers, we offer free delivery for a minimum of 5 additional totes or more.

No problem at all! Extra totes can stay unused—it won’t affect your rental cost. Our packages are priced as a bundle, so whether you use every tote or not, your rate stays the same. It’s always better to have a little extra space than to run short during packing.

Pricing, Payments, and Deposits

This section outlines everything you need to know about our pricing, payment options, and any deposits required for your rental. We explain costs in a simple, transparent way so you know exactly what you’re paying for before you book. With this information, you can confidently choose the package that fits your budget and your moving needs.

Payment is required in full at checkout to secure your rental and delivery date.

We accept e-transfer and major credit cards through Stripe.

If you choose e-transfer, your order will be placed “on hold” until payment is received. You have 24 hours to send the transfer before the order is canceled.

Your card is only charged after we confirm that the number of totes you ordered is available. This ensures you’re billed accurately and only once we’ve secured the exact equipment you need for your move.

Yes, the damage deposit is refundable. We place a $250 pre-authorization on your credit card, which is only charged if any totes or dollies are returned damaged, excessively dirty, or missing. Once all equipment is picked up and inspected, the pre-authorization is released if everything is in good condition. If any fees apply, we’ll notify you before processing the charge. Our goal is to keep the process transparent and worry-free for every customer.

Rental Policies & Guidelines

This section covers the essential policies and guidelines to follow while using our rental totes, helping ensure a smooth and trouble-free experience. You’ll find information on tote care, rental responsibilities, and what to expect if any items are lost or damaged.

To care for the totes, please keep them indoors and away from rain, snow, or extreme temperatures. Avoid overloading them or placing sharp or heavy objects inside that could cause cracks. With gentle handling, the totes will stay in great condition throughout your move.

If any tote or dolly is returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear, a replacement fee will apply. We will inspect the equipment at pickup and let you know right away if anything needs to be charged. Our goal is always to be transparent and fair.

Yes, totes must be kept indoors to prevent theft, weather damage, or warping from extreme temperatures. Leaving them outside increases the chance of damage, which may result in additional fees. Keeping them safely inside also helps protect your belongings.

Please don’t apply any tape, stickers, or markers directly on the totes. Only the labels we provide should be used, and these must be placed in the designated label area to avoid damage. Adhesives in the wrong spots can leave residue or harm the surface, which may result in cleaning or replacement fees.

Totes should not be overloaded past their weight limit or stacked more than four high when packed. Children and pets should never climb into or on top of them for safety reasons. Avoid dragging, throwing, or modifying the totes in any way to prevent damage or injury.
